Engaging Students with Digital Media

 

This project-based, TEKS aligned curriculum using digital images, Photostory 3, and Movie Maker will provide you with tools and skills to use with your students. During this two day, hands-on workshop you will have loads of fun while learning new strategies for engaging your students. Be ready to develop a digital story about the Texas Panhandle. Come join the fun!

What do you presently do in your classroom that addresses 21st Century skills?
Have students work in group projects to address an issue, come to one conclusion and effectively communicate this conclusion to others
I try to do more hands-on activities. We do many group activities, collaborative efforts, etc. I have students use the skills they have already learned in application form. We evaluate each other, including myself as well.
Equiping students to have life skills that will enable them to survive in everyday life!
